We support NGOs working directly with the economically backward to make education accessible and relevant to as many as possible. The education programmes are tailor-made to meet the needs of different groups.

• Formal Education: We support programmes that provide formal education to the disadvantaged children in both urban and rural areas.  Most of these children are first generation learners and come from economically weak and vulnerable backgrounds.
• Non-Formal Education: We support various non-formal education projects which include early intervention programmes for children between 3 to 6 years; support programmes that help children in formal schools to cope with their studies in order to retain them in school; and bridge programmes for school drop-outs. We also support functional literacy and education programmes for the youth and young adults to help them cope effectively in society. These programmes are undertaken in particularly vulnerable locations like slum communities, near construction sites, semi-rural areas and tribal dwellings.
• Vocational Training: We support programmes that aim at imparting skills to the youth and young adults so that they can gain access to employment opportunities.
• Special Education: We support programmes which run special schools for physically and mentally challenged to help them lead an independent and productive life.
