Through the course of the year, we initiate a number of events across India to assist and engage the underprivileged communities that we support. You can be a part of our events by sponsoring them, funding expenses like food, travel or infrastructure arrangements and through employee volunteering.

Sports day for the Differently-abled
Every child – regardless of differing backgrounds and abilities – has the right to a holistic education, of which sports is an intrinsic part. All children benefit from exercise, energy release, and the pure enjoyment of participating in sports. This includes children with special needs, who gain considerable confidence from sports activities. To this end, Concern India Foundation introduced Sports Day for the Differently abled, an event that has become one of the hallmarks of the activity calendar for many NGOs.
The sports day is organised in Mumbai and Pune with the help of Special Olympics Bharat as the technical partner. Children from various NGOs participate in a variety of races and activities in a fun-filled day that is special for not only the children but for all the volunteers and guests who are present. We hope to make this initiative grow and reach out to more children across in the country. If you would like to be a part of this joyous event, please write to us at email@example.com
Inter NGO Sports Meet
The Inter NGO Sports Meet is an athletic meet for underprivileged children between the ages of 8 and 16 years. It brings together hundreds of children from different NGOs in an athletic competition that celebrates their spirit of sportsmanship and pushes them to challenge themselves and surpass their limitations. This athletic meet is conducted annually in cities across India.
The Inter NGO Sports Meet has the Athletics Federation of India as its technical partner in Mumbai and Delhi, the Karnataka Athletics Association as its partner in Bangalore, and other athletic federations in the other cities.
In the past, the event has received support from State Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Eureka Forbes, Tata AIG, PepsiCo, Siemens, HSBC and many more. If you would like to help us seek out and celebrate athletic prowess, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
A drawing competition for special children, Splash encourages the artistic ability in children and gives them the space and opportunity to express their creativity. Special children from different NGOs get a chance to come together and enjoy a fun-filled day of drawing, painting and colouring. Splash is held in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Pune. If you would like to colour the lives of these special children, please write to us at email@example.com
Just like sports, music too is a fantastic way for children to show their talent, express themselves and have fun! Roshni is a music talent contest for the visually challenged, in which students from different schools showcase their singing and music talent through individual and group performances. If you would like to sponsor this event, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Each year Concern India Foundation brings in dozens of grassroots organisations and artisans to Mumbai’s iconic Kala Ghoda Arts Festival. The 9-day long festival, held in February each year, gives these organisations – some of them coming from the deepest and remotest pockets of rural India – the opportunity to showcase their creativity and sell products created by their beneficiaries to urban buyers, thereby contributing greatly to their livelihood.
The Ongoing Mela has been a runaway success since its introduction. Each year has seen unprecedented growth in the number of people who attend the mela as well as in the number of NGOs from across India wishing to participate.
Pedal for Change
Concern India Foundation is the philanthropy partner for Saksham Pedal, India’s Premier Cyclothon, that aims to propagate the importance of fuel conservation and efficient energy utilization amongst the citizens of Delhi. We invite corporates and individuals to participate for the Saksham Pedal as we partner with people to pedal for better tomorrow and make every mile count.
We appeal to corporate houses and individuals to participate in the Marathon held in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata and support us through corporate challenge teams, charity bibs and individual pledges. Funds raised will enable us to enhance our developmental work in the country in the areas of education, health and community development.
