Concern supports youth to pursue their education through school and college.
Our Scholarship initiatives are:
Despite significant progress, many girls continue to face barriers in pursuing education due to entrenched social norms, early marriage and safety concerns. To address this, Concern launched the Girl Child Scholarship programme in 2018, providing scholarships and holistic support to bright, underprivileged girls from Class 8 to 10. The programme ensures access to education through scholarships and school fee coverage, strengthens their potential with academic and life skills support and builds long-term impact through career guidance and active parental engagement. We believe that investing in girl’s education transforms families, communities and nations. Girl child scholars across Maharashtra and Karnataka. Delhi benefited from the programme and are now pursuing sustainable careers.
Our youth scholarship programmes support youth from urban and rural areas to ensure they complete their education and are linked to gainful employment.
Beyond financial aid, the programme offers holistic support through regular follow-ups, counselling, career guidance, material assistance, mentorship and performance monitoring, ensuring that each student’s academic and personal growth is nurtured. Scholars are pursuing studies at premier institutions like IITs, AIIMS, DTU, NSUT, Delhi University, NIIT Suratkal and Pune Institute of Technology. Graduates have secured placements in organisations such as Microsoft, Deloitte, Accenture, Samsung, L&T and Maruti Suzuki based on their merit.
We provide scholarships to youth with disabilities to help them pursue higher education and achieve their aspirations. Beyond financial assistance, the programme offers psycho-social support, career counselling, mentorship and employment linkages, enabling young people to build confidence, enhance their skills and transition successfully into the workforce.

We strengthen educational opportunities for children from underserved communities by providing academic and institutional support to schools. Our interventions enhance access to quality education and promote holistic development through teacher training, staff support, learning resources, and capacity-building initiatives.
We work closely with educators, parents, and communities through teacher development programmes, parent–teacher engagement, and structured home visits to create a supportive learning environment for every child. The provision of essential educational materials further enriches the learning experience and improves educational outcomes.
To ensure the sustainability and effective functioning of schools, we also support key educational personnel and institutional capacities, helping build stronger and more resilient education systems.

Our programmes take a holistic approach to nurturing young people — addressing child safety, reproductive health, financial literacy, and communication skills. Central to this is Suraksha, a flagship programme for adolescents aged 9–15 across rural and urban communities, which tackles gender inequality, cultural taboos, and limited access to accurate health information. Through hygiene kits, sanitary pad vending machines, and life skills education, Suraksha has equipped thousands of young people to navigate adolescence with confidence and dignity.
