Programs at Concern India Foundation are especially designed to focus on underprivileged and vulnerable children. Over 4.8 lakh students have benefitted from our education initiatives across the country.

We support talented underprivileged students to complete their education and accessing better career opportunities through a range of scholarship initiatives. Launched in 2018, the Girl Child Scholarship programme invests in bright, underprivileged girls from Class 8 to 10 — covering school fees, providing academic and life skills support, and offering career guidance and active parental engagement. Beyond school-level support, we also extend Higher Education Scholarships for students pursuing further studies, as well as One-Time Scholarships for those in need of timely, targeted financial assistance.

Concern India Foundation works closely with underprivileged schools to strengthen the quality of education from within. This is complemented by structured capacity-building programmes for teachers — equipping them with the skills, tools, and confidence to deliver more effective, inclusive, and engaging learning experiences for their students.

Through hands-on coding and AI programmes, students are introduced to foundational technology skills built for future-ready thinking. Bringing STEM and digital learning into classrooms helps bridge the gap between underserved communities and the rapidly evolving digital world.

We work with schools to address issues of dilapidated buildings, inadequate sanitation facilities, and insufficient classrooms, by renovating, constructing and improving facilities, thus addressing their basic infrastructure needs.

Our programmes take a holistic approach to nurturing young people — addressing child safety, reproductive health, financial literacy, and communication skills. Central to this is Suraksha, a flagship programme for adolescents aged 9–15 across rural and urban communities, which tackles gender inequality, cultural taboos, and limited access to accurate health information. Through hygiene kits, sanitary pad vending machines, and life skills education, Suraksha has equipped thousands of young people to navigate adolescence with confidence and dignity.
